Behind Muruhetki are years of baking experience across Finland, Ireland and England, but the idea has always been simple:Good bakes should taste as good as they look.Not overly sweet or heavy, but beautifully balanced, made with quality ingredients and, most importantly, made to be enjoyed and shared.At Muruhetki, it’s all about great flavour, carefully chosen ingredients and making those special occasions just that little bit easier.Over the years, our bakes have been made for birthdays, weddings, corporate events and celebrations of all kinds including for Sky Sports and Disney.Today, Muruhetki creates handmade cupcakes, brownies, blondies and our signature savoury Herkkukierteet, available across the Turku area.

REKO

Freshly baked, straight from the baker

Muruhetki is part of the local REKO food networks in the Turku area.REKO is a simple way to buy locally made food directly from small producers. Everything is pre-ordered and freshly made for each collection, then picked up at the designated REKO meeting point.Because we bake to order, there’s very little food waste and your bakes are as fresh as possible when you collect them.

How to order?

1. Join your local REKO Facebook group.2. Look out for Muruhetki’s posts in the group.3. Place your order following the instructions in that week’s post.4. Collect your order from your chosen REKO pick-up point.

Then simply collect from your chosen pick-up point or have everything delivered straight to your door.Pick-up is available in Turku, Raisio and Naantali, with home delivery available within 10 km of Turku city centre.

PaymentPayment can be made through the payment service available on our website, via MobilePay, by invoice or using another agreed payment method.Celebration packages and other orders placed through our online shop are paid for at the time of ordering.4. Order Lead TimesCelebration packages and other products ordered through our website should be ordered at least 7 days before the requested collection or delivery date.Orders with shorter notice may be possible depending on availability.For weddings, events and larger celebrations, we recommend getting in touch as early as possible.5. Collection & DeliveryOrders must be collected from the agreed location at the agreed time.Once an order has been collected, the customer is responsible for transporting and handling the products appropriately.Muruhetki offers home delivery within a specified delivery area.
